A practicing attorney since 1981, Judd Aronowitz received his Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.

The son of immigrant parents from Cuba and Russia, he was the first in his family to obtain a college education and become an attorney. Mr. Aronowitz is a former Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office. During his years of service with the State he prosecuted felonies. He also served in a specialized unit with the State Attorney's Office prosecuting sexually oriented crimes against children, the elderly and the developmentally disabled. He left government service in 1987.

Judd Aronowitz is rated AV by Martindale Hubble, the nation's preeminent lawyer rating service. An AV rating signifies an attorney has achieved the highest level of professional skill and integrity. The AV rating is based on a peer review by members of the Florida Bar and the Judiciary.

Judd Aronowitz has served as a trainer educating Guardian ad Litem volunteers about the legal system and child victims of crime.

He has served on two Florida Bar committees in Miami-Dade County. As a member of Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee, he assisted in making probable cause determinations against non-lawyers who "practiced" law. As a member and former Chair of Florida Bar Grievance Committee 11M, he was responsible for determining probable cause for grievances against attorneys for unethical conduct.

Mr. Aronowitz also served as Chief Legal Counsel for the Department of Children and Families in Miami-Dade County.
